TRICKSTER 18.9

The frame is made of full Cr-Mo with the same geometry as the TNB Lynx frame, and the forks and bars are also made of full Cr-Mo. This is TNB's high-end Flatland complete bike. This year's frame has thinner pipes, making it even lighter than the previous model at just 1.75kg. It also comes standard with TNB Aquila plastic pegs, which use aluminum inner parts. This is the lightest bike ever made for flatland riding.

The saddle is a soft saddle designed specifically for flatland riding, with the intention of being gripped during tricks and also designed for self-propelled riding.
The 15mm offset fork prevents it from becoming too quick.
However, it is the best offset for performing tricks.
At 20x2.0 (Max 60psi), it's thick and not only looks cool, but will also help you improve your tricks.
The pedals are also lightweight and thin, allowing for efficient transmission of pedaling power.
152mm arm crank that won't get in the way of tricks.

With four pegs attached, it weighs just 10.5kg, which is comparable to a core custom bike.
Each part is made to a standard specification, so you can enjoy customizing it later.
The 18.9-inch top tube is suitable for a wide range of heights, providing ample clearance for tricks while still feeling comfortable when riding.

The TRICKSTER 18.9, proposed by the owner of the world-renowned TNB brand, is produced in small quantities but offers outstanding cost performance, making it the best bike for experiencing BMX FLATLAND.

[TNB] Why is TRICK STER18.9 recommended to start BMX Flatland?

"flame"

A thin chromoly frame is used as a TNB product. The unique "flexibility" of chromoly improves durability, light weight, and tricks.

"About frame size"

I am currently on the TT18.9 frame. At 168 cm, I have chosen frames from 18.5-19.0.

I can say that 18.9 is the best size because it is a size that you can enjoy switching to a short frame or a long frame later.

"Fork" offset (protrusion) 15mm

As for me, many riders who have been riding for many years often use 0 offset forks. However, I feel that it is too quick for those who ride BMX for the first time because it is self-propelled. At first, it is easier to handle and ride if the offset is slightly (15 mm). If you can do some tricks, you will be able to choose with or without offset depending on how you ride and your technique.

"tire"

After riding for many years, I choose thin tires to some extent, but for beginners, thick tires are more stable for practicing tricks and self-propelled.

Anyway, I think that thick tires are more suitable for running a lot and stabilizing tricks. In any case, "BMX" has a thin frame and thick tires that look great.

"152 mm 3-piece crank"

Typical cranks are 165mm to 175mm, but in Flatland the crank can get in the way when doing tricks. However, if it is too short, it will hinder self-propelling, so 152 mm is the best size suitable for flat land from experience.

"Thin pedal"

The pedal is a thin pedal that can transmit power without loss and looks good.

"In terms of price"

* Full chromoly handlebar 10,000 yen
